NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing Receives Accreditation

NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing received its initial five-year accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) on November 17, 2011 and full program approval from Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing on November 22, 2011. The NLNAC is nationally recognized as a specialized accrediting agency for both post-secondary and higher degree education nursing programs while the State Board of Nursing establishes rules and regulations for the licensure and practice of professional and practical nursing in the state and provides for the examination of all applicants.
The NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing opened in January 2010 and operates with a mission to educate, empower, challenge and support its students as they expand their knowledge in the field of practical nursing, prepare for licensure, employment and service to the community. Orientation of its third class began on January 4, 2012 which includes NewCourtland Network employee, Grace Otuonye, a proud member of the class of 2013.
