The Nursing Home

Germantown Home provides high quality nursing care by blending the best technology with the best and brightest staff.

Our amenities include: large, private and semi-private rooms; comfortable dining facilities; on-site therapies; central bathing rooms with whirlpools; spacious lounges; exterior door security systems as well as a wander alarm system; climate control; and strategically placed nurses’ stations on each floor.

In addition to meeting the round-the-clock medical and safety needs of residents, Germantown Home strives to meet their cultural and spiritual needs as well.  Programs such as Comfort & Joy™ and Pastoral Care provide a unique opportunity for residents to remain physically, mentally and spiritually active, while remaining engaged with the community at-large.

The Senior Community

The Germantown Senior Community is NewCourtland Network’s flagship campus. This 13.5-acre park-like setting in the heart of Northwest Philadelphia is easily accessible via public transportation, including bus (route H and route 23) and regional rail (Carpenter Lane stop on the Chestnut Hill East line).

Consistent with the organizational philosophy of providing innovative housing linked to supportive services wherever possible and appropriate, the Community allows seniors to seamlessly transition from one level of care to the next as their needs change.

Accordingly, in addition to Germantown Home, the Community includes apartments designed for independent living, cottages for the memory-impaired and their caregivers and housing designed specifically for seniors transitioning out of nursing homes and back into the community without compromising their safety.
