Philadelphia Senior Center’s housing counseling staff was recently honored by PACDC at their annual gala

In addition to providing meals and programming for senior center participants, the staff at our PSCs also provide housing counseling to those seniors who are experiencing housing issues. Our housing counselors  meet with hundreds of seniors every year to help them with an array of problems ranging from filling out housing applications to assisting them with mortgage issues.

This year the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations honored these counselors as they are “The City’s’ first responders to housing needs”.
