Welcome Dameica to the Germantown Home Team

We have a new team member that you’re going to want to get to know. Dameica is our new Assistant Administrator for the NewCourtland Germantown Rehab and Nursing Home. Her background and impressive skillsets make her extremely good at what she does on a day-to-day basis. Let’s take some time to get to know Dameica a little better.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do for Germantown Rehab and Nursing Home

I’m a Philadelphia native and a mom that lives in the community where I work. Do you want to add any hobbies, other fun facts?

I see what NewCourtland Germantown Rehab and Nursing Home does to support the community, so I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing team. And knowing Pam Howard, VP of Healthcare Services and Administrator at Germantown Home worked here was an added bonus! I work hard at supporting the department heads, maintaining the building’s environment, and making sure the residents have the best possible experience for their quality of life.

What were you doing before you joined the team?

Prior to joining Germantown Home, I worked for Guardian Healthcare as NHA to assist with tasks such as Federal and State survey readiness, recruitment and retention, COVID -19 infection practices, team building, and overall daily operations, so when I heard there was an opening at Germantown Home, I knew I had found my calling.
