NewCourtland’s First Inclusive Housing Demonstration Opens Its Doors at The Tower at Henry Ave.

On Friday, April 25, NewCourtland proudly celebrated the grand opening of its first inclusive housing demonstration at 3232 Henry Avenue. The event was marked by a vibrant ribbon cutting ceremony and an open house, inviting the community to join in on this momentous occasion.
NewCourtland has long been dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities through innovative programs and services. This new initiative is a testament to their commitment, significantly bolstering their capacity to serve the community and deliver exceptional care.
The day kicked off with heartfelt speeches from key stakeholders, including local government officials; Senator Vincent Hughes, Representative Tarik Khan, Angela Brooks, leaders from NewCourtland; Max Kent and Joe Duffey, and community partners; Kelvin Jeremiah, Dyann Roth, Bill Bostic, and Garry Pezzano. Dr. Jennell Maddox and Dr. Linda Moore gave the invocation. After the ribbon cutting, attendees were invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, meet the dedicated staff, and experience the thoughtfully designed space during the open house festivities.
