Rev. Doctor Linda Moore is Purposefully Positioned for Spiritual Leadership

February marks the start of Black History Month, a celebration of the contributions African Americans have made to this country, and we’d like to introduce you to Rev. Doctor Linda Moore. Moore is the property manager for NewCourtland Henry Ave Apartments and most recently received her PhD in Divinity. 

Rev. Moore was called into ministry in 1997 at Harold O Davis Memorial Baptist Church.  In May 2007, she was licensed by Bishop Kermit L. Newkirk and ordained as an Elder on October 29, 2010.  She studied at Melvin Floyd School of Evangelism and received training at Faith Bible Institute and Timothy Leadership Program.  Graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary on May 19, 2007, with her Pastoral Diploma, May 2009 with her Associate’s Degree, and graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in management organization in May 2010 under the Priscilla Institute, Christian Women in Leadership. Graduated from Lutheran Theological Seminary with her Master of Divinity M/Div on May 23, 2017.  Graduated from Lutheran Theological Seminary on May 8, 2021, Doctor of Ministry Degree. 

In the year ‘2006 “It’s Not Your Fault At All Ministries, a Women’s Healing Ministry was established. This ministry is dedicated to helping many women who have experienced Domestic/Sexual Abuse.   Her larger vision is to empower women in various groups and churches to address the needs of developing social and economic issues.  Doctor Linda Moore through her teaching of many years in Sunday School and encouraging the younger women, is a true woman of God living by the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Her favorite scripture of the Bible is Proverbs 3:5-6.
