Our Allegheny Mural was dedicated on September 29, 2021!

After several postponements, we finally dedicated our Allegheny Mural on a beautiful fall day. The mural, titled Compass Map, was designed and painted by Miriam Singer and the members of the Philadelphia Senior Center.

About the mural: Compass Map is a 2,600 square feet playful cityscape mural by artist Miriam Singer with over 30 different colors located on Allegheny Ave on the front of The Compass Storage facility. The theme of the mural is a cityscape map of the neighborhood surrounding the mural site with images and ideas inspired by conversations and sketches from the seniors who live just across the street at NewCourtland Apartments at Allegheny.

It is located at Compass Storage, 1831 W Allegheny Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19132 across from our Allegheny Campus.
